Psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis is a partnership in which the therapist and patient collaborate to discover and work through the emotions and psychological blocks that interfere and limit our daily life.
Our therapists work with adults, adolescents and children who have various issues including but not limited to:

About our Institute
The American Institute for Psychoanalysis (AIP), founded in 1941 by Dr. Karen Horney, is one of the oldest psychoanalytic training programs in the United States. Treatment is provided by members of the AIP professional community, consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers and psychiatric nurses.

How does the application process work?
Fees are established during the one-our initial assessment and are based on your income and ability to pay. There is no minimum fee for psychoanalysis or psychotherapy. Many insurance plans will also provide coverage. Referrals are provided if we cannot meet your needs.
